The following information regarding Wowza Video maintenance is provided for planning purposes only and is subject to change at the sole discretion of Wowza Media Systems. There may be times that maintenance is scheduled outside of these windows in order to safeguard system performance, reliability, security, and stability.
About maintenance windows
Regular maintenance occurs quarterly, on a preferred schedule, on the Wowza Video service.
During these maintenance windows, you can't sign in to Wowza Video or use the Wowza Video REST API. Any live streams or transcoders that are already running will not be affected. However, stream and transcoder start and stop events that are scheduled to occur during the maintenance window will not work.
If and when the date or duration of a maintenance window changes, we will notify customers with as much lead time as possible. If emergency maintenance is required, customers may be notified less than one week in advance.
Please plan your own maintenance activities for Wowza Video (for example, integration changes) outside of the preferred Wowza Video maintenance windows.

Whenever possible, Wowza Video performs maintenance early in each quarter according to the following preferred 2024 and 2025 schedule:
