Asset management

How you record and store streams differs depending on your subscription.

While Wowza Streaming Cloud subscribers explicitly choose to record a stream as an MP4 file and/or as a VOD stream, Wowza Video subscribers choose to Save to Asset Management.

Saving to Asset Management creates an MP4 file and a VOD stream at the same time, and those assets are stored and accessed from Asset Management.
